It is SO exciting to share my passion for coffeehouses and their communities with you. My fascination with coffeehouses started about 10 years ago in Denver, Colorado when there was only a handful of locally owned places to visit. With the coffeehouse phenomenon growing by the day, I have set out to visit them all and connect you to them.
I plan to visit communities all over the globe, starting with my home country. Their unique expression of community is intriguing and needs to be recognized; this blog is a window to their existence.
In 2009, my teenage daughter and I took a 6 month road trip to the northwest to discover all the coffeehouses that crossed our path. We had a blast! If you’d like to read more about our journey, click on the blogroll entitled “Peace Love and Coffee Tour 2009″. My book will be coming soon.
Then in the fall of 2011 I set out on a solo road trip to explore the other side of the country; the Midwest, New England, and the South. Trekking over 7,000 miles of highway in 7 weeks I visited coffeehouses from Winterset, IA to NYC to Thomasville, GA. The experience was priceless.
I want these little places to be successful and for you to find them on your travels, too. When the online directory goes live they will each be listed, for free. I can’t wait!

Hey Lisa, Coffe the Musical folks will have a booth at the Coffee Fest Trade show in NY this weekend. They’ll be handing our espresso cups out at with their logo, have folks use them etc at the show. A fun group!
